LEARN TO LOVE FOOD
If you've found Body by Cathy because you want to lose weight, you might laugh at the idea of learning to love food. You're probably thinking that it's your love of food that made you gain weight. Wrong! It's eating out of boredom, eating to punish yourself, eating more than your body needs and yes, eating the wrong food.
Get the word ‘diet’ out of your head. Replace it with ‘mindful eating’ if you must, but it's best to think of it as healthy eating. That means eating nutritious foods that fuel your body, protect against disease, improve cognitive functions and make you feel amazing.
Eating is meant to be fun, not a chore filled with counting calories and measuring portions—we'll insist you do some of that in the beginning, but soon, you’ll reach the point where you understand what your body needs and you’ll adjust without conscious effort.
